Merry Christmas - star card & kit

Merry Christmas to my Rainbow Jane friends and families, - in the box with the card, you will find the paper to create 4 more stars to hang on your tree!

To put the little light in, you need to make the star, and then take it apart a little and slip the light into the centre, with the pull out tab poking out through the centre on one side and the bulb at the other. You may wish to put a dab of glue into the centre to hold the light fitting in place. (I used UHU)

I also slipped the gold thread through the centre and tied it to hang the star up.

Alternatively, I have placed a few balloons in the box and the lights can be popped into the balloon once you have blown it up - pull the tab out before you let go of the light fitting & then knot the balloon. The light will glow in the balloon for a few hours. If you undo the balloon, you can put the tab back into the light fitting and save some of the power.

If you want to create something simple, cut the paper up into triangles of different sizes and use the white card board box - glue the triangles on to create a bright tree collage.
