Cut, Craft & Create - from paper, tin and card
February 21st is the next Rainbow Jane Session at The Myrtle Tavern, Meanwood.
From 4.30 - 6.30pm - everyone, including children are welcome
From 6.30 - 8.30pm - it is an adult only session.
Come and join us in the bottom bar - please use the Eventbrite link, or contact Jane to book a place.
All sessions are 'Pay as you feel' with all donations going to charity - usually Rainbow Jane donates to Zarach & Alzheimers, but this session is giving donation to The British Red Cross Appeal for Turkey & Syria in the aftermath of the recent earthquake.
For the 4.30pm session - come and create a game or collage - cutting out dinosaurs or bears on a simple paper cutting machine, decorate them, add numbers if you wish, and counters to create a counting game, or stick and decorate to create collage.
Attendees to the 4.30pm session can also use the machines to cut tin cans and can learn how to upcycle them into decorative items. (sharp edges makes this activity not suitable for the youngest crafters - hence the paper and card options too.)
From 6.30pm - we will focus on cutting pop cans, painting them and adding wire and beads to create decorative items.
All the materials, instructions and inspiration is provided - along with chat and good company - combined with drinks from the bar. (Note The Myrtle Tavern doesn't do food on a Tuesday, but snacks - crisps, nuts etc are available)
