Creative Sessions for June ..
Wonderful to be back doing Rainbow Jane again.
2 fabulous sessions planned for June -
Sunday 20th, a one off workshop - Sea Inspired Hanging, and
Sunday 27th - Rainbow Jane Threads.
With very limited numbers, I am using Eventbrite so that places can be pre-booked -
I have a collection of sea glass, drift wood and pebbles collected on Whitby Beach, along with shells
from various other beaches and gemstone chips.
Wire the stones and thread them together to create a sea inspired hanging.
All supplies, inspiration and instructions are provided - or feel free to bring along your own collection from a beach trip.
The session is not suitable for children as it involves wire cutting and twisting and strong glue, but ideal for adult crafting beginnings, and anyone who just fancies getting creative, with a cuppa some cake and chat.
One session only- Sunday 20th June - 2pm - 5pm - 5 places only.
Time to get creative with felt, wool, threads, buttons and sequins. With a wonderful, colourful selection of felt, wool, threads, sequins and buttons to choose from, get creative and sew a small animal, bird or flower felt decoration or brooch. Learn how to loom knit a scarf or hat, crochet a granny square or bunting pendant, create pompoms, or collage with fabrics, felt and threads... The choice is yours!
Ideas, inspiration and instructions all provided, along with a cuppa, chat and cake!
11.00am and 1.00am sessions - ALL WELCOME - as a qualified Primary School Teacher, sessions include versions suitable for children to create, along with versions for craft novices to more experienced crafters. The sharing of skills and ideas adds to the creativity of the sessions too.
3.00pm session - ADULT only.
Secure books with a donation to Rainbow Jane Just Giving to Alzheimers -
The sessions are 'Pay as you feel' - to commit to your place at a session, it would be much appreciated if you could make a donation to the Rainbow Jane Just Giving Account before the session - see the links at the top and bottom of the page. To cover material costs, the suggested donation is £10+.
