Celebrating World Book Day with Reading Eggs
As part of my work, I have been creating some recordings of me reading some of the books from the Reading Eggs library. I'm so excited that Reading Eggs is going to be joining in the celebration of World Book Day, and many of my colleagues are also creating videos of themselves reading other great books from the Reading Eggs Library. We will be posting the videos on Social Media nearer the date - March 4th, but I thought I'd do a quick post here for friends and family, who might be interested, and mainly so Paddy can access them and hear his granny reading stories to him, and see Penny too!
If you have Reading Eggs at your school, or would like a free trial, you might also be interested in the webinars I'm doing - sessions about using Reading Eggs to develop a culture of reading for pleasure, and then some special sessions on World Book Day, which teachers can sign up to with their classes!
I've been so lucky to work for an om line Education company throughout the pandemic and each lockdown. The work of all the schools and teachers I have come into contact with has been beyond amazing, and it has felt like such a privilege to work with these resources to try and support schools, teachers and all the families who have worked so hard to keep their children learning, and enjoying learning over the last year.
