Rainbow Jane Rocks!
Our next Craft, Coffee and Chat session is on Sunday 7th January, from 1pm - 5pm. Do let me know if you would like to craft, so that I can try and make sure there will be spaces for everyone on the crafting table. But if you just want a cuppa, pop by any time in the afternoon. Everything is 'pay as you feel' and all the proceeds go to Alzheimer's.
To start the New Year, the session is going to be rock painting. I've only just started playing at this myself, and it is so wonderfully therapeutic and relaxing. I have a great range of acrylic and metallic paints, and I've also got some fabulous Posca paint pens. I've also got both clear and matt varnish sprays to finish off your rocks.
The options are endless; paint what ever you want onto the rocks. Here's the first few that I've done...
The rock I used for the fish has a hole, which I used for the fish eye.
I have stones for you to use, but if you go for a walk on a beach over the New Year, you might want to pick up a few stones yourself.
